I am of Goan / Indian extract and completed my Honours in Microbiology and Chemistry from St. Xavier’s College. I then worked in Cancer research in India and Saudi Arabia, before migrating to Perth. As my line of research was not available in the West, I completed my Bachelor of Education and my Post Graduate Preliminary Masters in Educational Leadership from Curtin University, before taking up my first teaching position at New Norcia. At about the same time having an interest in multicultural affairs I became part of the team at the Australian Asian Association of Western Australia, one of the largest conglomerate bodies in Western Australia, where I am currently President. I have a lovely wife Santhini and two of the cutest, naughtiest boys in the West, Aidan and Aaron. I live an excited and action paced life and would feel like being caught in a nasty traffic jam in the fair city of Mumbai if I ever slowed down.
